Jamie Kaye's entry into construction began nearly 25 years ago while remodeling historic homes in Charleston, SC—work that sparked a lasting curiosity about why buildings last and how they truly perform. That curiosity led him into building science, and for the past 16 years he has applied building-envelope and performance principles in the field every day. A Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE), Jamie has performed mold testing and indoor environmental evaluations, and he has completed HVAC design for thousands of homes—experience that gives him a whole-house perspective on how insulation, air sealing, moisture control, and mechanical systems work together.
