With thirty-two years in the plural component processing equipment manufacturing industry, Tom brings a unique blend of manufacturing, technical expertise and sales experience to his role as Senior Technical Advisor. Tom entered the industry as a master machinist working for Gusmer Corporation, where he spent five years producing precision components used in the production of plural component polyurethane processing equipment. Tom then transitioned into the position of Technical Service Representative working for the Gusmer Corporation. This gave him the unique opportunity to learn proper application and chemical handling from some of the experts that founded the industry. After leaving Gusmer Tom worked the next seven years as a trainer teaching the proper application of insulating foam and polyurea coatings. The trainings were conducted overseas for six months at a time and involved teaching the United States Military proper application and maintenance of plural component equipment . Most of these trainings were conducted in various countries in the Middle East. In 2011 Tom was employed by the Polyurethane Machine Corporation in the position of Technical Service Representative. Over the next 13 years he would go on to hold the positions of Technical Service Manager and National Accounts Sales Representative. In his new position with Profoam Tom will utilize his past professional experience to deliver a high level of training, troubleshooting, and customer support.
